NEW YORK CITY (Top40 Charts/ The Rhythms Of New York's Official Website) - Recently, Perth, Australia born, now based in New York City, singer/songwriter/keyboardist Kylie Edmond taped an episode of 'The Rhythms of New York' - the television series that examines the unique musical scene that helps make NYC the 'Media Capital' of the world. Accompanying Kylie was William Rottman on guitar. The episode featuring Kylie will be aired frequently during the upcoming months. The exact airdates will be announced on 'The Rhythms of New York' website www.rhythmsofny.com. (The show can also be viewed in its entirety on the Rhythms website and MySpace page.)

"The Rhythms of New York" showcases Artists and Bands ranging from beginners to highly seasoned professionals from a vast array of cultures. This diverse program is Produced and Hosted by respected music industry veteran, Dave Brodsky, and Co-Hosted by actress Celinez Bosque. Dave and Celinez doggedly scour the The Big Apple for Artists and Bands that help to make up its musical heritage and then showcase their performances on "The Rhythms of New York". These performances will be recorded live and be combined with interviews of the Artists. The interviews will enable the viewer to share the dreams, ego, and indecision that are a part of being a musician in the fishbowl that is New York.

According to Kylie Edmond, she is a "New York City-based Aussie sunshine smitten rocker flowing in breezy lyrics and summertime melodies". Kylie, a talented and well-respected singer/songwriter, performs regularly in venues around New York City, including Rockwood Music Hall, Living Room, Baggot Inn, the Bitter End, Caffe Vivaldi, the Sidewalk Cafe, Banjo Jim's, Parkside Lounge, and Waltz-Astoria. Her pop/rock sound comes through on her debut EP, "Weak". One reviewer proclaimed, "[i]n a perfect world you'd hear Ms. Edmond on your radio twice an hour. In today's music market it's anyone's guess how things will turn out, but Kylie Edmond very much deserves your attention." Kylie's MySpace page is www.myspace.com/kylieedmond.

Kylie performed three songs on the "The Rhythms of New York": 'Endless Days,' Oh No No' and 'Awkward Morning' (the first two songs are from Kylie's EP "Weak." Additionally Dave and Celinez conducted an informative and entertaining interview with Kylie.

In preparation for her appearance on "The Rhythms of New York,", Dave videotaped a "teaser" with Kylie in her Manhattan apartment. Kylie was interviewed by Rhythms Co-Host Celinez Bosque, who then joined Kylie in her kitchen where Kylie prepared a number of Australian treats: Vegemite on Toast, Vegemite on Crackers (with Vegemite "worms"), Fairy Bread, Chocolate Crackles, and Tim Tam Slams. [Literally within minutes of the posting of the "cooking videos" on YouTube, Rhythms producer Dave Brodsky, received a message from a representative of a British Broadcasting Corp. cooking show who wanted Kylie and Celinez to submit a video of them preparing a turkey using a medevial recipe and implements for use on the BBC program. However, since Kylie is vegetarian she was unable to prepare the recipe (and a tofu turkey was not acceptable!).]

"The Rhythms of New York" teaser with Kylie is streamed on www.rhythmsofny.com. The video is also on the Rhythms MySpace page: https://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=60488843 and on YouTube: the interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHZix0KXrBM, cooking segment part 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KfLFXmRVZ4, cooking segment part 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqdsmweAxOE

"The Rhythms of New York" show guest starring Kylie is streamed on www.rhythmsofny.com. The show runs just under 30 minutes. The video is also on the Rhythms MySpace page: https://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=61226690
