New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ RoadRuner Records) - Black Stone Cherry are getting ready to release a brand new album next year, but first, the good-time Kentucky-based band is checking in with a little holiday cover song in "Santa Is Back."
Having just premiered the via Noisecreep, guitarist Ben Wells tells the metal news site, "This Christmas cover song came about on a cold December night last year, while jamming in our practice house in Kentucky.
"We love to rock, but we also love our Christmas tunes! We figured, what better song to cover than one originally made famous by none other than the King, Elvis Presley! We jammed it once or twice and recorded it live on the spot. Of course we put our BSC spin on it, and are happy it has been so well-received by our fans. Enjoy and happy holidays!""

Go right here to hear the song made popular by Elvis now, and stay tuned for more from Black Stone Cherry coming VERY soon!

Black Stone Cherry's last album ('Folklore and Superstition') brought the band to new critical acclaim and a fan base as the foursome went on to tour with Nickelback and received the thumbs up approval from Lynyrd Skynyrd's Rickey Medlocke.
