Jacobs Ladder Announces New EP 'Back To Life,' Available On April 1, 2011
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ EarShot Media) Miami progressive power pop/rock outfit Jacobs Ladder announces its new Back to Life EP due out April 1st. Already a fixture and fan favorite on the Southeast touring circuit, having played over 550 shows and counting with such bands as Fallout Boy, Forever The Sickest Kids and Bayside, to name a few, Jacobs Ladder is bound for even bigger things with the new recording, produced by Carlos de la Garza (Neon Trees, Reel Big Fish).

Through the band's relentless touring schedule and killer live set, Jacobs Ladder have managed to make fans out of some of their musical heroes, such as New Found Glory's Cyrus Bolooki who raves, "Jacobs Ladder has worked hard to establish their unique sound in South Florida, and now look to bring it to the masses. Tight harmonies, catchy melodies, and driving rhythms, that bring a fresh spin to a familiar genre."

In a recent interview with Absolutepunk, Jacobs Ladder drummer Brian Hernandez explained the band's main objective by stating, "We strive to play good quality rock music. We want to make people feel the way our favorite bands make us feel. I think we have the potential to quench some musical thirsts and fill some voids left from the days when bands brought originality."

Fresh off a NYC industry showcase at Manhattan's famed Arlene's Grocery earlier this month, the 3-piece has just confirmed a hometown EP release party at Churchill's in Miami on April 8th with support from Arboles Libres, Deaf Poets, Hit Play and others (details below).

Jacobs Ladder has launched a pre-order for Back To Life at https://jacobsladder.bandfarm.com. Local fans may also purchase a specially-priced bundle that include tickets to the release show along with the EP.
