Seven Acts Added To The Mariposa Line-up

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Mariposa Festival) Mariposa Folk Festival added seven acts to its growing musical line-up, and more announcements are expected in the coming weeks. Festival headliner, Emmylou Harris, was announced in earlier this month.

The artists announced today include Peter Yarrow (Sunday evening headliner), Garnet Rogers, Ron Hynes, Marie-Lynn Hammond, Adonis Puentes, Reid Jamieson and Daniel Champagne.

Commenting on today's announcement, Artistic Director, Mike Hill, stated that "The Mariposa line-up is all about diversity, and these artists from Australia, Cuba, the United States and Canada, including seasoned veterans and new voices on the music scene, are what it's all about. We have music for everyone, and everyone wi! ll have a great time".

Mariposa Folk Festival takes place July 8-10, 2011, at Tudhope Park in Orillia, Ontario, on the shores of beautiful Lake Couchiching.

Audience camping is available at nearby Burl's Creek Family Event Park.
