Bootsy Collins Confirms 13-piece All-star Band + Surprise Celebrity Guests For First US Headlining Tour In 16 Years
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Bootsy Collins has assembled a phenomenally funky 13-piece band for his first U.S. headlining tour in 16 years, which launches this Friday with a show at Club Nokia in LA. Collectively dubbed 'Funk U-Nity," the band includes members of P-Funk, Public Enemy and legendary session players, and promises to deliver the earth-shaking groove Bootsy's live shows are known for. Bootsy and Funk U-Nity's set will mix songs from his acclaimed new album 'Tha Funk Capital of the World' with classic jams and tributes to Bootsy's musical idols.

'Tha Funk Capital of the World' features contributions from George Clinton, Snoop Dogg, Chuck D, Ice Cube, Samuel L. Jackson, Bela Fleck, Rev. Al Sharpton, Dr. Cornel West, Buckethead, and more, many of whom will pop up as surprise guests at various stops on the tour. Full list of dates below.
