NEW YORK (www.bandbuilder.com/paparoach/) - Looks like radio couldn't wait to come to Papa. Geffen band Papa Roach is back in a big way as "Getting Away With Murder," the debut single from their upcoming CD, hits No 1 most added at Active Rock radio and No 2 at Alternative radio. The achievement is all the more impressive is that the track was already in the Top-20 at Active Rock before the official add date.

Leading the charge on the airwaves for "Getting Away With Murder" are influential stations WXRK/NY, WAAF/Boston, WZZN/Chicago, KISW/Seattle, Live 105/SF, WHFS/DC, KTBZ/Houston, KPNT/St. Louis and WBCN/Boston and WZTA/Miami. The song is the title track from the band's newest CD "Getting Away With Murder," which arrives in stores August 31st

Papa Roach is currently in the midst of a U.S. summer club tour being supported by fellow Geffen band Instruction.

Formed Northern California in 1993, Papa Roach is comprised of Shaddix, Jerry Horton, Dave Buckner, and Tobin Esperance. They made their recording debut with the 1994 EP "Potatoes For Christmas" followed by their full-length debut "Old Friends From Young Years" and two more indie EP's. When they released their second full-length CD "Infest" in 2000, all hell broke loose.
The album went triple-platinum, powered by the mega-hit single "Last Resort." With their 2002 CD, "lovehatetragedy," the band scored a No 2 debut on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart and a coveted slot on Eminem's Anger Management Tour.
