MIAMI, FL. (Latin Recording Academy) - The Latin Recording Academy(R) today announced that Akwid, Cafe Tacuba, Incubus, Paquito D'Rivera, Ozomatli, and Marco Antonio Solis will perform on the 5th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards telecast. Additionally, Lynda Lopez, Christina Milian, Esai Morales, Adam Rodriguez and Wilmer Valderrama are confirmed presenters. The Latin music industry's premier event will take place on Sept. 1 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and will be broadcast on CBS from 8 - 10 p.m. (ET/PT).

Akwid is nominated for two Latin GRAMMY Awards, in the Best New Artist and Best Urban Music Album ("Proyecto Akwid") categories. Earning three Latin GRAMMY nominations this year, Cafe Tacuba is nominated for Album Of The Year ("Cuatro Caminos"), Best Alternative Music Album ("Cuatro Caminos") and Best Music Video ("Eres"). GRAMMY(R)-nominated rock band Incubus will join Cafe Tacuba for what promises to be an engaging special performance.
Other performances will include: classical and jazz musician Paquito D'Rivera (performing with Latin GRAMMY nominees Bebo Valdes and Diego El Cigala), Ozomatli, who earned a nomination for Best Alternative Music Album ("Coming Up"), and Latin music legend and double nominee Marco Antonio Solis (Best Ranchero Album for "Tu Amor O Tu Desprecio," and Best Regional Mexican Song for "Tu Amor O Tu Desprecio").

Presenting awards will be WCBS-TV and Style Network television host Lynda Lopez, pop/R&B sensation Christina Milian, actor Esai Morales, from "CSI: Miami" Adam Rodriguez and from "That '70s Show" Wilmer Valderrama.

Previously announced performers include current four-time Latin GRAMMY nominee Bebo Valdes, three-time Latin GRAMMY Award-nominated Diego El Cigala, Best Female Pop Vocal Album nominee Paulina Rubio and Best Music Video nominee Roselyn Sanchez.

Previously announced presenters include GRAMMY-nominated group the Black Eyed Peas, radio personality Renan "El Cucuy" Almendarez Coello, actor/comedian Cheech Marin, on-air personality Maria Menounos, "Without A Trace" star Enrique Murciano, Freddy Rodriguez from "Six Feet Under," and Brazilian singer and television host Xuxa.

The 5th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards telecast will be distributed internationally to more than 100 countries and will be supported on radio via Univision Radio and Westwood One International.
