NEW YORK (Jake One Website) - 2004 has been incredibly busy for production heavyweight Jake One! Coming fresh off of a 2003 run with the likes of G-Unit, Rasco, and Rah Digga, he graced projects in early 2004 from Encore, Gift Of Gab, Planet Asia, L'Roneous, Kardinal Offishall and Vast Aire with his stylish beats. In September, Jake's brilliant talent shines on De La Soul's new album, The Grind Date. The stand out single "Rock Kokaine Flow" featuring MF Doom is an immediate hit with critics and fans alike! He also worked his magic on a second track - "Days Of Our Lives" featuring Common. E-40's Best Of Yesterday And Tomorrow album dropped last month, and he enlisted Jake for the fiery "Bust Yo Sh*t" featuring B-Legit and Rankin Scroo. Later in 2004 and early 2005, you can expect to see new Jake One collabos with songstress Lil Moe, WWE star John Cena, and Hiero emcee Casual. Jake One will be participating in the popular Beat Society showcase at the Knitting Factory on September 18th. Also appearing will be Seattle legend Vitamin D, as well as S-1, Fel Sweetenberg, El Da Sensei, Truth Enola, DJ 3D, and more! You can always expect surprises at Beat Society events, so don't miss out!
