Npr Music, AOL Spinner Dub Scala & Kolacny Brothers Top '100' SXSW Act, US Debut Out Next Week

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Out of the thousands of acts that will descend on Austin, TX next week for SXSW, NPR Music and AOL Spinner both agree that Belgian rock choir Scala & Kolacny Brothers are one of the top acts to see at the festival. NPR Music included the group in their "Austin 100" mix, while AOL Spinner spoke to conductor Stijn Kolacny as part of their "Top 100 Acts At SXSW 2011" interview series.

Just days before hitting Austin, TX, Scala & Kolacny Brothers will release their self-titled US full length debut Tuesday, March 15 on ATCO Records. The group has already won the hearts of critics at the LA Times, USA Today, Billboard, MTV.com, and Stereogum, and will kick off a North American headlining tour April 7 in Vancouver. The tour includes a performance at tastemaking festival Coachella on April 15.

At SXSW, Scala & Kolacny Brothers will perform at Stubb's BBQ (outdoors) on Friday, March 18 at 11:45pm.
