NEW YORK (CEG) - Central Entertainment Group, one of the fastest growing music marketing and booking agencies in the country further expands its reach with the launch of it's Latin Division CEG Latino. Heading up CEG Latino are two Latin industry veterans, Johnny Falcones in New York and Marcelino Ramos in Chicago.

In announcing this new division, CEO of Central Entertainment Group, Michael Schweiger says, " CEG is extremely excited to welcome Johnny and Marcelino into the fold. These are two of the best-known and respected Latin industry veterans in the business, with proven track records in the areas of both booking and management. With Johnny and Marcelino on board CEG will be the one stop talent and marketing agency for Salsa, Latin Jazz, Reggaeton, Merengue and Tropical music talent."

Johnny Falcones resume reads like a who's who of Latino artists. Working for many years handling the top of the line roster for RMM (Ralph Mercado Management) where he co-managed the superstar talents of Marc Anthony and was the go to agent for the "Queen of Salsa," Celia Cruz and the diversely talented India, Oscar Deleon, Tito Nieves, among others. Falcones says of his move to CEG, " It's a pleasure to join the CEG organization, because of their talent, experience and vision. I feel this venture will fill a void not only in Latin music but music period."

Marcelino Ramos, who will be heading up the Chicago division of CEG/Latino also comes to CEG with an impressive resume. Marcelino honed his skills for almost ten years at RMM Management where he was the responsible agent for the legendary Tito Puente, later road managing him as well. Career highlights also included booking many superstars from the RMM stable of artists. Marcelino will be specializing in the areas of Latin Jazz and Tropical where he has already signed on Dave Valetin, Giovanni Halvon and Hilton Ruiz. "I'm looking forward to helping CEG grow and develop as a force in the Latino music marketplace. I'm energized by the professionalism and hard work of all the agents there and know I'm in the right place at the right time."
