YORK (CEG) - Central Entertainment Group, one of the fastest growing
music marketing and booking agencies in the country further expands its
reach with the launch of it's Latin Division CEG Latino. Heading up CEG
Latino are two Latin industry veterans, Johnny Falcones in New York and
Marcelino Ramos in Chicago.
In announcing this new division, CEO
of Central Entertainment Group, Michael Schweiger says, " CEG is
extremely excited to welcome Johnny and Marcelino into the fold. These
are two of the best-known and respected Latin industry veterans in the
business, with proven track records in the areas of both booking and
management. With Johnny and Marcelino on board CEG will be the one stop
talent and marketing agency for Salsa, Latin Jazz, Reggaeton, Merengue
and Tropical music talent."
Johnny Falcones resume reads like a
who's who of
Latino artists. Working for many years handling the top of
the line roster for RMM (Ralph Mercado Management) where he co-managed
the superstar talents of
Marc Anthony and was the go to agent for the
"Queen of Salsa,"
Celia Cruz and the diversely talented India, Oscar
Deleon, Tito Nieves, among others. Falcones says of his move to CEG, "

experience and vision. I feel this venture will fill a void not only in
Latin music but music period."
Marcelino Ramos, who will be
heading up the
Chicago division of CEG/Latino also comes to CEG with an
impressive resume. Marcelino honed his skills for almost ten years at
RMM Management where he was the responsible agent for the legendary
Tito Puente, later road managing him as well. Career highlights also
included booking many superstars from the RMM stable of artists.
Marcelino will be specializing in the areas of Latin Jazz and Tropical
where he has already signed on Dave Valetin,
Giovanni Halvon and Hilton
Ruiz. "I'm looking forward to helping CEG grow and develop as a force
in the
