PHOENIX, AZ. (ViaStar Media Corporation) - ViaStar Media Corporation. announced today that ViaStar Record's recording artist and Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter Peter Cetera is slated to appear in the 78th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, November 25th, 2004.

Over 50 million viewers are expected to tune into the live NBC broadcast beginning at 9 am (EST). This year's annual extravaganza will feature Cetera, and his two daughters, as they ride the two and one half mile parade route down Broadway on the "Magic of Christmas" float, sponsored by Fisher Price. Cetera will be performing the heartfelt, holiday original "Something That Santa Claus Left Behind" from his newest release "You Just Gotta Love Christmas." The performance will take place in Herald square.

"You Just Gotta Love Christmas," is the first holiday album in Cetera's multifaceted career. Collaborating with both family and friends, Cetera created the album in the spirit of Christmas and the music touches on many of the emotions of the season: love, thoughtfulness, memories, anticipation, surprise and even, loneliness.

"You Just Gotta Love Christmas" is Cetera's seventh album since his extremely successful solo career began in 1985. He released "The Glory of Love" which quickly reached No 1 on the Billboard charts and earned him an Academy Award nomination as the theme song for "The Karate Kid, Part 2." He followed it up with a smash duet with Amy Grant, "The Next Time I Fall" which achieved yet another No 1 billboard ranking for Cetera.

As singer, songwriter and bassist for the popular rock group Chicago, Cetera and the band released a series of multi-platinum albums throughout the seventies and eighties which included his chart topping singles "Baby what a Big Surprise," "Wishing You Were Here," "Feeling Stronger Every Day," "Hard To Say I'm Sorry" and the Grammy Award winning "If You Leave Me Now."

ViaStar Media Corporation expects the international exposure associated with the Macy's Annual Thanksgiving Day event to greatly support its ongoing marketing and sales efforts with its retail partners this holiday season. These partners include but are not limited to Kmart, Borders, WalMart, Musicland / Sam Goody, Wherehouse Records, Record Town, Coconuts, Tower Stores, Virgin and Barnes & Noble.
Pre-sell demand for "You Just Gotta Love Christmas" has been very robust and ViaStar believes the Cetera holiday release will play a significant role in boosting the company's second quarter revenues.
