Premiere Rod Stewart tribute artist Danny D kicks off the Bud Light River Sight and Sound Concert series on Friday, July 2 from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. This free outdoor show is part of Mount Clemens' annual Independence Day celebration and will be followed by a massive fireworks display.

Danny D and his all-star band The Vagabonds will perform a wide variety of legendary rocker Rod Stewart's best-loved hits including 'Hot Legs,' 'Forever Young,' 'Maggie May,' and 'Hot Legs.". Founding members of the Silver Bullet Band Robyn Robbins, Shaun Murphy, and Drew Abbott will also join Danny D onstage to perform a number of Bob Seger classics. In addition to this live rock-hit tribute party, Danny D will treat fans to brand new, original music from his forthcoming full length CD, produced by Robbins, and set for national release in October 2010.

Danny D's tribute to Rod Stewart continues to receive rave reviews all over the Midwest and beyond for his remarkable homage to the legendary rocker. Headlining festivals, casinos, dinner theatres and nightclubs, Danny D has also opened for some very big name acts including Uncle Kracker, Mitch Ryder, David Lee Roth, Air Supply, The Romantics and The Tubes. Trumping those bills was a recent Rod Stewart concert at DTE Energy Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan when the man himself brought Danny D on stage for an impromptu duet!
