DALLAS (February 17, 2011) - HDNet Concerts present yet another rock legend as "Robert Plant and Band of Joy" relive 30 years of musical history this Sunday, February 20 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
The mere glimpse of Robert Plant's shadow waiting in the wings - an outline distinguished by an uncontrollable mane of cascading curls - whips the previously reserved Forum crowd into a frenzy.
"This is our first concert for 43 years in this town," Plant tells his audience, many of whom have lined up for hours just to make sure they get the best seats in the house.
Plant then ploughs his way through a tight and seamless set before finally rewarding his steely following with a raw but nevertheless on-the-money version of
Gallows Pole, which leaves the crowd chanting for more.
Featured songs include: "Monkey," "House Of Cards," "Harms Swift Way," "Rich Woman," "Satan Your Kingdom Must Come Down," "Central Two-O-Nine," "Angel Dance," "Cindy I'll Mary You Some Day," "Please Read The Letter," and "I Bid You Goodnight."
