New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Lil Baby's new album My Turn has been smashing on streaming services. It is expected to move a whopping 170-190k copies in the first week.
One of the fan favorites on the album is 'Forever' where the Atlanta rapper recruited senior "lil," Wayne. The two artists join forces for the official music video today - a typical rap video made of green screens, women and some luxury cars.
In the Jon J.-directed clip, the rappers perform in front of a screen that displays fiery scenes and stormy weather. The pair appear with their squad and the visual features a Rolls Royce, an angel-winged woman, and money and bling are in abundance.
"If I sell my soul, I'll take it back, I'm slime forever," Lil Baby and Lil Wayne rap on the closing chorus. "I put bust down on the whole gang, we gonna shine together/She got Rollies on her timepiece when she step out, she be flashing/Whenever we get alone, I give her half and she get nasty."
Lil Wayne released his latest album Funeral in January. Last month he performed Funeral's " Dreams" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and the Coloring Book hit " No Problem" with Chance the Rapper at the 2020 NBA All-Star Game.
