NEW
YORK (www.bartlebyproductions.com) - Acoustic Pop duo the dambrots have
released their third CD love, delusion, and other things. Following
the chronological color scheme of their logo, this is their "orange
album."
love, delusion, and other things is the dambrots
third project working with producer Eric Rachel, whose credits include
Pattie Smith Group, The Misfits, Skid Row, Saves The Day, and Graham
Parker. Continuing the bands mission to release eight color-coded CDs
with different approaches to acoustic music, this CD features a
60's/80's influenced folk rock - a mixture of Suzanne Vega,
Simon and
Garfunkle, Stevie Nicks, and The Byrds. This follows the folk
minimalism of their debut CD "especially not love", and the
hand-percussion heavy acoustic pop of their second CD "how to fall in
love in 20 minutes". The two members of the dambrots play all
instruments on their recordings. Singer dawn marie plays drums and a
variety of interesting and exotic percussion instruments. Songwriter al
james plays a wide range of instruments, including acoustic guitars,
bass, piano, mandolin, concert bells, melody harp, and ukulele.
the
dambrots CD's are available at major online music sellers, including CD
Baby, Tower Records, and Amazon. Downloadable MP3 of the dambrots songs
and albums are available at all major MP3 websites, including iTunes,
Napster, and Sony Music.
