NEW YORK (Top 40 Charts) - Reba McEntire and Linda Davis recorded a hit version of “Does He Love You?” in 1993, but McEntire sang the song this past Wednesday in Las Vegas to make a dream come true for American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson.

McEntire and Clarkson’s version of the song will be featured on American Idol in Vegas, a two-hour special airing Monday (Sept. 23) on Fox.
Clarkson previously sang the song herself -- during a seventh grade concert.

Clarkson's first single, "Before Your Love/A Moment Like This" (RCA Records), is expected to rocket to No. 1 on the US Singles chart next week on the strength of retail sales of the single, released Sept. 17. The music video for "Before Your Love" will premiere during the special, while Clarkson performs "A Moment Like This" on stage.

Kelly Clarkson's debut album on RCA Records will be released in early 2003 while her single, "Before Your Love"/"A Moment Like This," hit stores this week.
