NEW YORK (Toni Braxton Official Website) - Arista recording artist Toni Braxton is living up to the title of her brand new fifth album, MORE THAN A WOMAN, stepping out from her multiple roles as mother, wife, actress, recording superstar, and pop diva to kick off a rigorous schedule of promotion and marketing activities - including the shooting of videos for the first single "Hit the Freeway" (produced by the Neptunes) as well as the second release "Lies, Lies, Lies" (produced by her husband, Keri Lewis) - in advance of the November 19th release of her new album, it was announced today by Antonio "L.A." Reid, President and CEO, Arista Records.

"This is the most extensive campaign that Arista has ever formulated in support of a new album by Toni," said Mr. Reid. "All departments are enthusiastically coming to the table with some of the most unique and original ideas for exposure that we have ever devised. Toni has risen to meet every new challenge we have presented to her. I am personally overjoyed that Toni and her husband are expecting a new addition to their family. This is a wonderful time in Toni's life. This album will be another huge success for her."

With the first birthday of Denim Cole Braxton Lewis fast approaching this December, Toni and her husband producer Keri Lewis are padding their nest for a second arrival next spring. Meanwhile, the artist has been doing it all (and then some) - shooting two promo videos; the first with multiple MTV award-winning director Dave Meyers and his protg Charles Infante; scheduling numerous appearances on television; completing photo sessions for various magazine covers; and preparing for a multi-city schedule of in-store promotions this fall (all details to be announced).

Next year, Toni Braxton will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the release of her self-titled debut album, featuring "Another Sad Love Song," "Breathe Again" and "Seven Whole Days."

The release of her second album, Secrets (1996), earned Toni a place in Grammy history as the second woman (beside Dionne Warwick) ever to win Best Female Pop Vocal (for "Un-break My Heart") and Best Female R&B Vocal (for "You're Makin' Me High") - in the same year.

MORE THAN A WOMAN follows two best-sellers by the 6-time Grammy winner:
In 2000, she released the worldwide 4 million-selling album The Heat (featuring the RIAA gold single "He Wasn't Man Enough," which won two American Music Awards and the Grammy for Best Female R&B Vocal); and last year marked the release of Toni Braxton's first Christmas album, Snowflakes.
