New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - "Together," the first single from
Ruben Studdard's forthcoming album "Love IS," is now available through all digital retail outlets. Produced by the Grammy Award winning team Stargate (Beyonce, Ne-Yo, Rihanna), the soulful song brings together Studdard's powerfully smooth and tender vocals with a rich, deeply melodic R&B soundscape created by the Norwegian duo recognized by Rolling Stone as "Best Hitmakers" in their 2008 "Best of Rock" issue.
Says Studdard, who will celebrate his first wedding anniversary in June, 'The words are great - they say that, no matter what, love is eternal and you can make it through everything if you stay together.' He goes on to rave about the production: 'Stargate is amazing, and you can't argue with their track record!'

"Love IS," Studdard's fourth album and his first release since 2006, is out May 19 through Hickory Records / 19 Recordings. While Stargate holds down production for "Together," the rest of the album is helmed by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, best known for their chart-topping success with Janet Jackson, Boyz II Men and Mary J. Blige. This will be the album that Ruben's fans have been waiting for.
Studdard is on tour now, starring in the 30th anniversary production of the Fats Waller musical, Ain't Misbehavin'. Listen for "Together" at Urban AC and Mainstream Radio; and stay tuned for the announcement of the "Love IS" track list, brand new photos and the premiere of his official website.
