'reconnect' By Headless Charlie To Launch In May

New York, NY (TOP40 Charts/ Tom Kat Records) -- PHOENIX Fans of vintage hard rock and heavy metal will not wait nor more, as the release date of the long anticipated Headless Charlie album a�?Reconnecta�� has been announced. Tom Kat Records | DSN Music will release the new 13 track CD to stores nationwide on May 18th. Online stores such as iTunes, Amazon.com, eMusic.com, and Rhapsody will release digital tracks earlier in the month.

This CD brings back the vintage sound of groups like Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and Led Zeppelin into todaya��s music scene,a�� stated rock radio veteran Wild Bill Scott. Headless Charlie spent close to two years in the studio nailing down the resurgent heavy metal sound for a�?Reconnecta��.

DSN Music chief Guy W. Giuliano, shared that the first single off the new disc will be a�?The Edge.a�� Headless Charlie just wrapped shooting the music video for the single, via the lower regions of a discarded high school in Jerome Arizona, where the group hails from. a�?This video has a total retro feel to ita�� the kind of stuff you saw on MTVa��s Headbangers Ball back in the 80a��s,a�� Giuliano said.

In support of the release, Headless Charlie has begun to announce dates for their promotional tour, which will kick off on the west coast in early summer. Headless Charlie features an incredible lineup of talented rockers, with Keith Martin on vocals, Roy Sandoval and Jeff Icard on guitars, Steve Botterweg on bass, and John Westcott on drums.
