Los Angeles, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Global Village Records) - Talent, beauty and intrigue come in many forms. But you can find all three in the compelling voice of San
Diego native, Brianna Tatiana. Brianna could be Hollywood's next pop music singer to climb to national prominence. With a voice as natural and soulful as she is unassuming and alluring, the young artist and fashion model from the island suburb of Coronado stands on the threshold.
Before deciding to broaden her horizons and become a musician, Brianna was a successful fashion model, signed to industry leader Nous Management. Nous landed her a spread in Harper's Bazaar, and a spot in the new campaign for PETA. She is a regular on the L.A. club scene, and spends her weekends socializing with fellow celebrities. Brianna has basked in the public spotlight since birth - her father is one of the country's top attorneys, Howard Weitzman. Mr. Weitzman has worked for clients such as O.J. Simpson and Paris Hilton.
"There's something very special about her voice," Howard says, recalling the first time he heard her sing: "She videotaped an acappella song for me out on the front lawn at our home. I could hear it then, that little mysterious Hollywood thing. You're not sure what it is, but she's got this sound in her that is so soulful and emotional. Brianna's voice stands out; it has power and passion, and her technique was always in the service of communicating real emotion, not just going over the top for its own sake."
Brianna's debut CD release, "Believe In Me", showcases her big voice and the seasoned songwriting and production. The album is a collection of songs that are very personal to her. "All my girlfriends and I approach our relationships with guys differently, and these songs speak to the many feelings and emotions we've experienced as we try to relate to the guys. The songs are at times fun, sassy, assertive, introspective, and romantic. Whatever girls are going through, there are songs they will relate to; and the guys will definitely recognize themselves in these songs. It's a relationship CD that both guys and girls will get a lot out of - both musically and emotionally."
Brianna has performed for thousands of fans at sporting events, charity shows and club dates. Her first single, "Whatcha Gonna Do" has already received airplay on some of the nation's top radio stations.
Brianna lists Sarah McLachlan and Jewel as two of her favorite singer-songwriters; and Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys and india.arie as some of her most admired singers and influences.
"I'll always be singing no matter what happens," she insists. "Even if it's by myself on some street corner." Chances are more than just the lamppost or her front lawn will be privy to this young woman's splendid vocal prowess.
There's no doubt about it - soon, everyone will be hearing a lot more of Brianna's "mysterious little Hollywood thing".
