Hollywood, CA (ANDERSON, BUCHANAN, & GILLUM PUBLIC RELATIONS) - He's performed with Mos Def and Beyonce, was the International face of Tommy Hilfiger for six years, and has appeared in over 40 movies and 35 television shows, yet only his mother and father know his name. However, thanks to MTV's sizzling new top-rated show 'Yo Momma,' that's about to change. Sam Sarpong is on course to become Hollywood's next breakout star.

Actor, Supermodel, and Host Sam Sarpong will gain national exposure thanks to his co-hosting spot on MTV's hot new reality show 'Yo Momma.' Sam is teamed up with the show's creator and executive producer 'That 70's Show' star Wilmer Valderrama. The wildly popular new show pits Southern California's most outrageous trash talkers against each other, competing in a no-holds-barred jokesters' battle. With 'Yo Momma' airing daily five times a week, Sarpong is sure to become a household name.

The 26-year-old London born entertainer has landed lead and supporting roles in several of this year's soon-to-be released motion pictures including, the Miramax film 'Keeping up the Steins' with Jeremy Piven and Daryl Hanna, the action-packed summer blockbuster 'Johnny Was,' which features Eriq La Salle, Vinnie Jones, and Samantha Mumba, and the high school comedy 'Grad Night,' co-starring Aloma Wright and Coolio. 'Grad Night', an urban version of American Pie meets House Party, is being released today and is available on DVD. Sarpong also joined the cast of the hit UPN show 'Everybody Hates Chris,' as a reoccurring guest star playing 'Marlon,' the babysitter's boyfriend.

'I think this will be my breakout year because of timing, and in this business timing is everything,' says Sarpong. 'With all my projects coming out back to back, I feel that one of them will be the one to launch me to that next level.'

Sarpong is one of three black male models in the world to sign an exclusive contract with a major fashion designer (Tyrese Gibson, and Tyson Beckford are the other two), Sam is also a past recipient of the prestigious MAA fashion Award for New Male Model of the year. He was twice named the 'Today's Black Woman' magazine's fifty most beautiful people in the world. In 2002 'YM' magazine selected Sarpong as one of its fifty most beautiful people. Sam is the current face for Levi's Jeans and has recently landed a major campaign with one of the world's biggest high-end fashion houses which will launch this Fall. Sam has walked the runway for high fashion designers such as: Versace, Donna Karen, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Hugo Boss and Ed Hardy.
'This business is all about persistence, and believing in yourself, and most of all...never, ever give up,' says Sam Sarpong.

Never satisfied with past success and constantly working to keep the momentum going, Sam Sarpong is on the grind; currently filming three movies; designing custom made T-shirts and Hoodies for his Future Stars clothing line; running his own production company which also bares the same name; and rehearsing for an upcoming late summer tour with Alliance Group Entertainment's rock/pop sensation Jake Coco.

With his co-hosting spot on MTV's latest series, 'Yo Momma,' seven feature films hitting theaters this year, and a reoccurring role on a hit television show, Sam Sarpong is shaping up to be one of Hollywood's biggest break-out stars.
